This policy explains how refunds work for Macro Cravings: Desserts Worth Craving, a downloadable PDF cookbook. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
Digital product, instant delivery
The cookbook is a digital product delivered straight away as a PDF download. Because you get instant access to the full content as soon as you buy, standard UK rules for online purchases treat this differently to a physical item: once your download access has been given, the usual 14 day cancellation right for online purchases does not apply. We tell you this before you complete your purchase.
Your consumer rights are not affected
None of this affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If the file you received is faulty, for example it will not open, is corrupted, or is significantly not as described, you are entitled to a fix or a refund.
When we will refund you
- You were charged but never received working access to the download.
- The PDF file is genuinely faulty or corrupted and we are unable to fix it.
- You were accidentally charged more than once for the same order.
- You were charged for an order that did not go through correctly.
When we generally will not refund you
Because the cookbook is digital content you can access immediately, we do not offer refunds simply for a change of mind once the download has been provided and is working correctly. This is standard for instantly delivered digital products and is explained before you check out.
How to request a refund
Email support@macrocravings.co.uk with your order number and a short description of the problem. If you're not sure where your order number is, see our Order & Download Help page. We'll look into it and get back to you.
